Stronger After Kids Coaching: There’s no question having kids changes your life. New and seasoned moms often feel a loss of self, especially when it comes to their pre-baby fitness. No matter your post-baby goals—returning to fitness, embracing different fitness, improving your fitness—you can come back stronger, whatever that looks like to you, and reclaim yourself.

I’m my own guinea pig in this space; I’ve had three babies in five years, and after each one, returned to a running event stronger and faster than I’d ever been. I juggle work, kids and their schedules and illnesses, and a training load, not because I can do it all (no one can), but because I know what’s flexible and what’s non-negotiable.

As a former Runner’s World editor and a long-time running and nutrition journalist, I’ve always said I’ll run until it’s no longer joyful. And then, I’ll find a way to make it joyful again. Let’s do this, together; you got this, Mama!
